We always remember and be overshadowed by the violence, wars and conflicts in various parts of the world. As if the price of human life become so cheap and low when conflict occur. Bloodshed, murder and crimes that stain the universal human values as if no concern to us. Many war stories are so tragic and even sad. We may still remember the wars in the past, when Perl Harbor was bombarded, Nagasaki was destroyed even Indonesia conquered. Using various kinds of weapons and technology even in war it gives tremendous impact of the destruction, not only for the environment but also for the survival of human beings in this universe.
Humans in every era have a crucial role in the development of human civilization. Technological development was directly proportional to human development. Since the days of pre-history until the present era, humans continue to create amazing things using the mind and their ratios are smart. Rapidly evolving technology makes the changing patterns of human behavior and the traditional lifestyle to be modern as now. Technology does have significance in human life. As can’t escape from technology, people become very dependent on the developing technology. I am a person who believes that technology will not only have a positive impact but nevertheless negative. Technology such as knives, if we use it to cut the meat it will be very useful. But it would be greatly impacted if we use a knife to kill. Technology can be said is a neutral thing. How do we use it and like what our attitude is the key in the use of these technologies well bad.
Tell the world now-now that would upset the middle of fear and anxiety. What a dream world of peace and harmony, and this can be realized by the technology. Various advanced technologies made for human welfare and provide a sense of security. How many people who feel the light even in the remote village. How many people are able to hear the news from a country far across the ocean there. And how many people are able to move only in an instant. Technology seemed to make man without limits of space and time. But often misused technology in acts of violence that causes fear.
Terrorism is one act of harnessing technology to street violence. How not, various acts of terrorism in the world using sophisticated technology. WTC terrorist acts of September 11, Bali bombings, or even the Iraq War, is this what we want from the use of technology? Of course not. Of course that is expected is the use of technology for prosperity, for peace and for human survival.
Then how is the role of youth in creating a peaceful world order in the midst of rapid development in technology? At this level the role of youth is needed as a subject predicate by young, fresh, vigorous to become the head and spine peace after one stage of the person who just stepped into the conflict ammunition. Regularity of the regeneration of the older generation to the younger generation becomes an important deterrent factor in realizing justice.
Youth become one integral part of the world in the peace process being carried along by the nation states. Youth have a critical attitude issues use of technology. Youth also have a solution that is more relevant in the community when compared with the government to be more politically and elitist. Youth as a basis for lightening and actor changes in the dynamics of the world. The issues that brought the youth are always fresh and interesting to observe. Even the youth in some situations be able to play an important position as subject and object at once. Grassroots and the government require bridges that connect the interests of both parties, and young people be able to bridge the two. The attitude of young people who self-reliant and assertive as well as an inspiring and fresh thinking make the youth as the mouthpiece of the aspirations of the community. In many countries, the forums gathering of world youth made submissions in determining state policy. As a control society, youth is believed to be problem solvers and solution providers. Therefore youth have a strategic role in realizing the use of technology to world peace.
As a conclusion, that all efforts made by the youth could not be implemented well and maximal if no support from society as an implementer of policy and government as policy maker and the holder. World view of peace in all countries is the same view, namely to create world records safe, peaceful and at ease for present and future generations.
